FireFly Metals Share Price on Watch as Green Bay Drill Results Exceed Expectations
FireFly Metals Ltd (ASX: FFM) is on investors' radar after releasing high-grade copper and gold drill results from its Green Bay project in Canada. The company reported impressive drilling results, including 11.5 metres at 11.1% copper and 2.1g/t gold, and 65.3 metres at 4.3% copper equivalent.
The results are crucial for bolstering the company's upcoming Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) and will shape economic studies for a future production re-start at Green Bay. FireFly says these high-grade infill drilling results will feed directly into the MRE update, supporting its strategy to grow the all-important Measured & Indicated category.
The company remains well-funded with approximately A$196.4 million in cash and liquid investments as of 30 June 2026. FireFly aims to complete its updated MRE and Preliminary Economic Assessment by the end of August 2026, which will be crucial for restarting copper and gold production at Green Bay.
