Fitch Reaffirms Qatar's Sovereign Rating at AA Amid Reduced Risks

Fitch International has reaffirmed Qatar's sovereign rating at AA after removing it from its Rating Watch Negative list.

The agency cited a reduction in risks to Qatar's liquefied natural gas production facilities since March as the reason for this decision.

A negative outlook on Qatar's rating remains, however, due to ongoing concerns over disruptions to liquefied natural gas exports through the Strait of Hormuz and damage to energy facilities.
