Futures Prices Shift Across Key Commodities: Corn, Soybeans, Wheat, and Live Cattle
The Chicago Board of Trade reported various changes in futures prices for corn, soybeans, and wheat on Tuesday, September 15, 2026. Corn Futures saw December up 2 at $5.35 and March up 2 at $5.50. Soybean Futures increased by 15 cents to $13.19 for November and $13.35 for January.
On the other hand, Wheat Futures rose by 5 cents to $7.27 in December and 4 cents to $7.43 in March. Live Cattle Futures dropped by $162 to $220.62 in October and $195 to $223.20 in December. Feeder Cattle Futures fell by $417 to $333.67 in October and $400 to $328.77 in November.
Meanwhile, Agris at Thamesville reported that 2026 Crop Corn was up 2 cents at $6.80 per bushel, while 2027 Crop Corn rose half a cent to $6.51 per bushel. 2026 Crop Soybeans were up 14 cents at $17.33 per bushel, and 2027 Crop Soybeans increased by 10 cents to $16.29 per bushel.
The Hensall District Co-op also reported that 2026 Crop Corn was up 2 cents at $6.81 per bushel, with 2027 Crop Corn rising half a cent to $6.512 per bushel. 2026 Crop Soybeans were up 14 cents at $17.29 per bushel, and 2027 Crop Soybeans increased by 10 cents to $16.25 per bushel.
Ontario Pork Reports stated that the U-S CME price for dressed weight was down $0.86 from the previous day at $86.89 per hundredweight. However, the 100% formula price rose by $1.50 to $218.72 per hundred kilograms.
