Gas Prices Soar Across Iowa Amid Crude Oil Hike

The price of regular unleaded gasoline in Iowa has risen to $4.11 per gallon, up 5 cents from last week's price and $1.20 from a year ago, according to AAA.

The global crude oil market also saw an increase this week, with West Texas Intermediate (WTI) prices rising by $8.19 per barrel to $104.01 and Brent crude rising by $6.83 to $107.62.

Retail diesel prices in Iowa increased by 41 cents to a statewide average of $6.12, while natural gas prices at the Henry Hub reporting site rose by 10 cents to $2.95 MMbtu.
