Gazprom Boosts Gas Supplies to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan by Nearly 70%

Russian gas producer Gazprom has increased natural gas deliveries to Central Asia's Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan by almost 70% since early 2026, according to CEO Alexei Miller.

Gazprom supplies the gas through the Central Asia, Centre (CAC) pipeline system, which is operating in reverse. In 2025, Gazprom supplied Uzbekistan with 6.48 billion cubic meters of gas, a 15% increase from 2024.

The company has signed long-term contracts to supply natural gas to Kyrgyzstan through 2040 for use at the CHP-2 and Bishkeksellmash thermal power plants. Gazprom also delivers gas to Kazakhstan's West Kazakhstan, Kostanay, and Aktobe regions, with deliveries rising as demand grows.
