gBuy Revolutionizes Shopping with Bullion-Powered Prices
Australia-based Liquid Noble has launched gBuy, what it claims is the world's first bullion-powered shopping system. The platform allows customers to choose the price they are willing to pay for a product and automatically purchases it when that price becomes possible.
The idea behind gBuy is to help people make the most of their gold or silver holdings by using them to buy products at a lower price than if they were to purchase them immediately. For example, with a 65-inch 4K TV priced at about AU$1,055 today and an illustrative gold price of AU$193.50 per gram, buying it immediately would take about 5.5 grams. However, a shopper willing to wait could instead buy about 4.9 grams for roughly AU$950 and place a gBuy order.
'Gold has traditionally been something people buy and put away. We built gBuy so it can help them get something they actually want,' said Dan Dragon, founder and CEO of Liquid Noble. 'You decide what a product is worth to you. If you're happy to wait, gBuy watches for the opportunity and takes care of the purchase when your price becomes possible.'
The platform currently offers products and services including electronics, appliances, books, clothing, and gift cards, with thousands of eligible products offering free local delivery in Australia and the EU.
