Giustra Says Retail Investors Are Missing Gold Rally
Veteran mining financier Frank Giustra highlighted at the Precious Metals Summit in Colorado that retail investors have largely missed out on gold’s recent rally. Speaking to The Northern Miner, Giustra noted that central banks have been consistent buyers of gold as countries move away from relying on the U.S. dollar. Despite the market’s upward trend, ordinary investors have yet to engage with gold in meaningful ways, according to Giustra’s 45 years of experience in the industry.
Giustra emphasized gold’s role as a hedge against geopolitical and financial risks, suggesting that a shock event could fuel another significant rally. He also shared insights on copper, predicting a price spike before new mine supply can meet demand. Additionally, Giustra discussed his involvement with Copper Giant Resources (TSXV: CGNT; US-OTC: CGNRF), where he holds a major stake.
