Global Gold Prices Plummet as International Rate Falls

Gold prices plummeted in both global and local markets on Thursday, following a decline in international rates.

The price of gold fell by $56 per ounce to $4,258 in the international bullion market, while locally it dropped by Rs5,600 per tola to Rs448,336.

The price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs4,801 to Rs384,375.

Silver prices declined in the local market as well, with the price of silver falling by Rs171 per tola to Rs6,837 and the price of 10 grams decreasing by Rs147 to Rs5,081.
