Global Oil Production Set to Surge by Nearly 9 Million Barrels Next Year
The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) has released its forecast for global daily oil production, citing an increase in output next year.
According to the EIA's monthly report, global daily production of liquid hydrocarbons is expected to average 109.74 million barrels in 2027, up from 100.82 million barrels this year and 106.12 million barrels in 2025.
The forecast for 2027 represents an increase of 8.92 million barrels over the previous year's figure, with the EIA attributing the growth to accelerating global oil production.
