International gold and silver prices closed lower on Thursday.
The New York Mercantile Exchange saw gold futures for December delivery drop by 0.47 percent to settle at $4,298 per ounce.
Silver futures for December delivery lost 1.48 percent to close at $64.002 per ounce.
