Gold and Silver Prices Rebound as Oil Eases Inflation Fears

Gold and silver prices rebounded on Thursday as oil and bond yields eased. Spot gold gained 1.83% while spot silver rose by 3.55%. The 10-year Treasury yield dropped to around 4.95% after moving above 5% earlier in the week.

The decline in oil prices, which corrected for the third session, also helped ease inflation fears and supported gold and silver prices. However, oil remains above $100 due to ongoing regional tensions and the Fed's signal of more rate hikes.

Analysts believe that both metals may remain volatile until Treasury yields remain elevated and the outlook for oil becomes more stable. For gold, a break above $4,530 could push the price toward the $4,800 region.
