Gold and Silver Prices Soar on First Shravan Monday in Maharashtra
The price of gold and silver surged on the first Monday of Shravan in Maharashtra. The price of silver rose to ₹2,37,480 per kilo, an increase of ₹1,391. Gold prices also saw a rise, with 24-carat gold priced at ₹1,55,170 for 10 grams.
The demand for gold and silver is increasing due to the festive season, leading to fluctuations in prices. In various cities across the country, silver prices have increased significantly. For instance, in Delhi's bullion market, the price of silver is around ₹2,37,000 per kilo, with 10 grams priced at ₹2,370 and 100 grams at ₹23,700.
The rise in industrial demand for silver is also contributing to its increased prices. Silver is used extensively in various industries such as solar panels, electronics, and electric vehicles, leading to an increase in demand. Additionally, investors are increasing their investments in precious metals to safeguard against economic uncertainty and inflation.
