Gold Falls Marginally on September 23, Silver Sees Notable Increase

On September 23, gold prices fell marginally in both domestic and international markets. According to Comex data, gold prices dropped by 0.05% to $4374.10 per ounce. In contrast, silver prices rose by 0.74%, trading at $67.025 per ounce.

The MCX Gold, October 5 expiry, fell Rs 167 to an early low of Rs 1,52,549 per 10 grams, down from the last close of Rs 1,52,716. However, later in the day, gold prices turned flat while silver erased some of its early gains.

Domestically, the MCX Silver, December 4 Expiry, rose Rs 1,489 to a high of Rs 2,41,377 per kilogram from the last close of Rs 2,39,888. The 24 karat gold rate today is Rs 1,53,540 per 10 grams, while 22 karat gold rate on September 23 is Rs 1,40,745.
