Gold futures prices rose on Tuesday by Rs 704 to Rs 1.53 lakh per 10 grams in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions on firm spot demand.
The yellow metal contract for the October delivery traded higher on the Multi Commodity Exchange, with a business turnover of 1,560 lots.
This price increase represents a gain of 0.46 per cent compared to the previous day's prices.
