Gold Futures Soar, Silver Prices Rise Amid Firm Spot Demand

Gold futures rose to Rs 1.50 lakh/10 gm on Thursday due to firm spot demand, while silver prices increased by 0.93%.

The gold price in futures trade jumped by Rs 1,475 to Rs 1,50,511 per 10 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) as speculators created fresh positions.

Analysts attributed this rise to market participants building new positions, leading to a higher price for the precious metal.

In New York, gold futures rose 0.59% to USD 4,182.06 per ounce.
