Gold Price Stabilizes as Technical Indicators Point to End of Correction

The gold price has shown early signs of stabilization after finding strong support at $4,000. Several technical indicators now suggest that the correction which began in May may be losing momentum.

Gold's breakout above the downtrend line that had capped prices since May is a significant development. The series of progressively lower lows came to an end in late June, and instead, the chart has started to establish a modest upward trendline.

The next key resistance level is located near $4,200, corresponding to the previous swing high. A sustained move above this level would provide further confirmation that the broader uptrend is reasserting itself.
