Gold Prices Hold Key Support Cluster Ahead of Recovery Attempt
Gold prices are currently trading near $4,320 on the five-day chart for Gold (GC), after retreating from $4,439.80 and testing $4,278.30.
The price is close to the weekly Buy 1 level at $4,319 and above the daily VC PMI mean at $4,306. Holding this support cluster favors another attempt at the daily sell levels, but a sustained break below it could expose lower daily supports.
The chart still shows lower highs, indicating that a rebound needs confirmation. A move above $4,331 would strengthen the recovery case, while a price above $4,365-4,376 is considered a supply zone.
Below $4,309, traders should watch the levels of $4,271 and $4,245 closely. Scale in partial units at defined levels and size positions for volatility, as reversion probabilities do not guarantee an outcome.
