Gold prices in India remained elevated on August 31, 2026, even as bullion prices retreated from their sharp highs reached earlier this month. Bajaj Broking's nationwide tracker showed 24-carat gold at ₹1,58,230 per 10 grams as of 8 am.

The same tracker listed 22K gold at ₹14,504 per gram and 18K gold at ₹11,867 per gram. Delhi-specific figures from India Today's commodity tracker were slightly different, with 24-carat gold priced at ₹1,58,380 per 10 grams and 22K gold at ₹1,45,190 per 10 grams.

The prices of jewellery can vary depending on the city, jeweller, purity, taxes, making charges, and the benchmark used by the seller. This means that buyers should treat online rates as benchmarks and confirm the final price with the jeweller before making a purchase.
