Gold Prices Inch Up Amid Fed Meeting Anticipation
Gold prices rose slightly in early Asian trading on Wednesday as US Treasury yields retreated from recent highs. The rise was attributed to traders awaiting the results of the latest Federal Reserve meeting.
The spot price of gold increased by 0.2% to $4,342.33 per ounce. This comes after a nearly 2% decline on Tuesday.
In contrast, US gold futures for December delivery edged 0.6% lower to $4,396.30.
