Gold prices in Delhi have fallen below Rs 1.5 lakh per 10 grams for the first time in two months, driven by weak local demand and a strong US dollar.

The price of gold dropped by Rs 1,400 to Rs 148,600 per 10 grams on Tuesday, according to local traders.

This is the lowest level since July 31, when gold was quoted at Rs 148,300 per 10 grams.

Silver prices in Delhi remained unchanged, while global silver rebounded slightly after a significant decline in the previous session.
