Gold Prices Plummet by Rs3,000 in Pakistan Amid Global Rate Decline

Gold prices in Pakistan have dropped by Rs3,000 per tola following a decline in international bullion rates. The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) announced that 24-karat gold now costs Rs438,636 per tola, down from previous rates.

The price of 10-gram gold also decreased by Rs2,572 to Rs376,059. This drop in prices is a result of the international market where gold settled at $4,161 per ounce, with a decline of $30.

Local prices in Pakistan are typically benchmarked to global rates with a premium of $20 per ounce. Silver rates have also decreased by Rs50 to Rs6,528, while the 10-gram rate dropped by Rs43 to Rs5,596.
