Gold Prices Plummet in Iraq's Major Markets

Gold prices have decreased in both Baghdad and Erbil markets on Thursday. According to a survey conducted by Shafaq News, gold prices hovered around 960,000 IQD per mithqal.

The selling price for 21-carat gold on Baghdad's Al-Nahr Street was recorded at 945,000 IQD per five grams, while the buying price reached 941,000 IQD. The selling price for 21-carat Iraqi gold stood at 915,000 IQD, and the buying price reached 911,000 IQD.

In jewelry stores, the selling price of 21-carat Gulf gold ranged between 945,000 and 955,000 IQD per mithqal. The prices for Iraqi gold sold in these stores were between 915,000 and 925,000 IQD.
