Gold Prices Plummet in Nepal's Domestic Market

Gold prices in Nepal's domestic market took an unexpected downturn on Sunday. The metal reversed its two-day upward trend and dropped sharply by Rs 1,800 per tola.

The current rate for hallmark gold stands at Rs 283,200 per tola (11.66 grams), down from Friday's closing rate of Rs 285,000. For 10 grams, the price is now at Rs 242,800.

Silver also posted a decline, dropping by Rs 45 per tola. The current rate for silver stands at Rs 4,315 per tola, compared to Rs 4,360 recorded on Friday.
