Gold Prices Plummet in Pakistan Amid Global Economic Uncertainty

Gold prices in Pakistan decreased on Friday, October 2, 2026, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. The price of 24-karat gold opened at Rs438,636 per tola, a decrease of Rs3,000 from the previous session's rate.

The international market also saw a decline in gold prices, with a $30 drop in the price of gold per ounce, opening at $4,161. The current global trend is downward, which is reflected in Pakistan's gold rates.

The latest gold prices in Pakistan for other types of gold are: 22-karat at Rs402,083 per tola, and 21-karat at Rs383,807 per tola. Silver prices also decreased by Rs50 from the previous session, opening at Rs6,528 per tola.
