New Delhi's gold market saw prices drop by Rs 773 to Rs 1,53,608 per 10 grams on Monday in futures trade. This decline was attributed to weaker spot demand for the precious metal.

The Multi Commodity Exchange reported a business turnover of 998 lots for yellow metal contracts with October delivery trading lower by Rs 773 or 0.5%. Globally, gold futures declined by 0.53% to USD 4,355.59 per ounce in New York.
