Gold Prices Plummet to Rs 1.47 Lakh per 10 Grams Amid Continued Decline

Gold and silver prices continued to decline on Tuesday, September 29. According to the rate chart provided by Goodreturns, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,47,400 per 10 grams, while silver stood at Rs 2.22 lakh per kg.

The prices have dropped significantly over the past two days, with gold falling by approximately Rs 5,000 and silver declining by around Rs 11,000 during this period.

Looking at the rate chart for September 29, gold prices were as follows: 24-carat: Rs 1,47,400 per 10 grams; 22-carat: Rs 1,35,018 per 10 grams; 18-carat: Rs 1,10,550 per 10 grams; and 14-carat: Rs 86,229 per 10 grams.

The decline in gold prices has been particularly sharp over the past month, with a fall of around Rs 9,000 since August 31. Silver has also seen a significant drop, down by around Rs 15,000 from its price on August 31.
