Gold Prices Plunge by Rs800 per Tola Amid International Market Decline

The prices of gold in Pakistan's local market experienced a decline on Tuesday. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs800 to settle at Rs437,336. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs686 to Rs374,945, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold declined by Rs628 to Rs343,712.

Similarly, the international market also saw a drop in gold prices, with the price falling by $8 to $4,148 per ounce. This decline is reflected in the local market, where the price of gold is directly linked to global rates.

In addition to gold, silver prices also decreased on Tuesday. The price of silver per tola fell by Rs20 to Rs6,558, while 10 grams of silver dropped by Rs17 to Rs5,622. Internationally, the price of silver declined by $0.20 to $60.80 per ounce.
