Gold Prices Plunge in Pakistan Amid Market Volatility

The price of gold in Pakistan has dropped significantly on September 7, 2026. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, 24-karat gold is priced at Rs465,536 per tola. In the international market, the price of gold opened at $4,430 per ounce.

The association's rates show that 22-karat gold is priced at Rs426z741 per tola, while 21-karat gold is available at Rs407,344 per tola. The price of silver per tola increased in the previous session with an opening rate standing at Rs6,859.

Market analysts predict continued price volatility for gold over the next 30 days, citing potential support around $3,951 and possible upward moves extending to $4,645. Gold remains under pressure from a stronger U.S. dollar and expectations that the Federal Reserve will maintain a tight monetary policy.
