Gold prices rebounded in Bahrain markets on Friday, September 18, after global bullion surpassed $4,360 an ounce. The price of gold in Bahrain rose by 1.2% to 1,645.600 Bahraini dinars per ounce.

The increase is attributed to safe-haven demand tied to the Middle East conflict and expectations that the US Federal Reserve will keep rates higher for longer.

According to Jordan's Roya News market bulletin, local gram prices also rose by 1.2%, with 24K gold at 52.910 dinars per gram, 21K gold at 46.300 dinars per gram, and 18K gold at 39.680 dinars per gram.

The Bahraini dinar is pegged to the US dollar at about $2.66 per dinar, which means the quoted ounce converts to roughly $4,376, closely tracking international price trackers on Friday.
