Saudi Aramco Cancels Crude Deliveries to Europe Amid Pipeline Attack
Saudi Aramco has informed European refiners that they will receive no crude oil in October due to an attack on the kingdom's key pipeline to the Red Sea, according to a Bloomberg report. The decision affects all European buyers under term contracts that provide regular monthly supplies.
The East-West pipeline was shut down last week after being targeted by drones, with partial operations expected to resume within days and full capacity restored in six weeks. This suspension has prompted some European refiners to seek alternative supplies, with Polish refiner Orlen issuing over 10 tenders since Friday.
