Gold Prices Remain Stable in India Amid Global Economic Uncertainty
Gold and silver prices in India remained relatively stable on July 26 due to weakness in international bullion markets. The marginal differences in retail prices are influenced by brand-specific pricing policies, procurement costs, and regional market conditions.
Globally, market participants will continue to track economic data, US interest rate expectations, and currency movements for further direction in precious metal prices. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold futures were down by around 0.36% at ₹1,42,300 per 10 grams, while silver futures dropped by around 0.36% to ₹2,18,580 per kilogram.
Gold and silver rates varied slightly across different cities in India. In Delhi, the 24K gold rate stood at ₹1,44,470 per 10 grams, while the 22K gold rate was at ₹1,32,440 per 10 grams. Similarly, in Mumbai, the 24K gold rate was at ₹1,44,320 per 10 grams, and the 22K gold rate was at ₹1,32,290 per 10 grams.
