Gold Prices Retreat from Three-Month High Amid US Inflation Focus

Gold prices retreated from their three-month high on Tuesday as investors turned their attention to upcoming US inflation data and a speech by Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh.

The spot price of gold fell by 0.2% to $4,640.39 per ounce as of 0334 GMT, while US gold futures remained steady at $4,696.00.

Others metals also declined in value, with spot silver falling 1.3% to $68.01 per ounce, platinum losing 1.2% to $1,853.85, and palladium slipping nearly 1% to $1,345.26.
