Gold prices in Delhi have risen for seven consecutive sessions, hitting ₹1.59 lakh per 10 grams on Wednesday. This represents a gain of ₹2,600 from Tuesday's closing price of ₹1,57,200 per 10 grams, according to the All India Sarafa Association.

The price increase is attributed to firm global trends and strong bullion demand, driven by investors' safe-haven buying ahead of US inflation data. Geopolitical tensions in West Asia also supported demand for precious metals.

However, gains were limited as investors remained cautious before the release of US inflation numbers. Analysts believe that market participants will closely assess the data to gauge signs of persistent price pressures.
