The price of Gold in Pakistan rose on Monday to PKR 39,168.57 per gram, up from PKR 39,007.99 on Friday.

This increase comes as part of a trend where central banks globally are adding to their Gold reserves, with the World Gold Council reporting that they added 1,136 tonnes worth around $70 billion in 2022, the highest yearly purchase since records began.

Gold prices can be affected by various factors such as geopolitical instability, interest rates, and the US Dollar's value. A strong US Dollar tends to keep Gold prices under control, while a weaker one may push them up.
