Gold Prices Slide Amid Middle East Market Concerns

Gold prices saw a decline of 0.3% to $4,362.60 per ounce on Monday, following market participants' assessment of recent developments in the Middle East and their potential impact on inflation and interest rates.

The spot price of gold fell short of Friday's one-week high, while US gold futures dropped by 0.6% to $4,400.20.

Other metals also experienced fluctuations, with silver rising 0.2% to $66.37 per ounce and platinum decreasing by 0.1% to $1,798.31. Palladium, however, gained 0.6% at $1,309.65.
