Gold and silver prices in India continued to soar on September 8, 2026, amidst global uncertainty. According to Bullion.co.in, the price of 24K gold stood at Rs 1,53,290 per 10 grams, while 22K gold was priced at Rs 1,40,516 per 10 grams.

Silver 999 fine was available at Rs 2,38,680 per kg. These prices reflect a significant yearly growth for both metals, with gold gaining around 40.8% and silver over 90%. The latest prices come as investors continue to track global economic and geopolitical developments, with gold remaining a closely watched safe-haven asset.

The city-wise prices also varied across different locations in India. Chennai recorded the highest prices for both gold and silver, while Delhi reported the lowest rates. In Chennai, 24K gold was Rs 1,53,450 per 10 grams and 22K gold was Rs 1,40,663.
