Gold Prices Soar on Strong Demand, Surpassing Rs 1.5 Lakh Per 10 Grams

Gold futures rose to Rs 1.50 lakh per 10 grams on MCX due to strong demand and fresh speculative positions.

The price increase was attributed to market participants creating new positions, analysts said.

The Multi Commodity Exchange saw trading in the yellow metal contract for October delivery, with a business turnover of 1,554 lots.

International gold futures also rose in New York, increasing by 0.01% to USD 4,275.38 per ounce.
