Gold Prices Spike by Rs400 per Tola in Pakistan Market
Gold prices in Pakistan increased by Rs400 per tola on Saturday, following a rise in the international market. The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported that the price of 24-karat gold reached Rs457,136 per tola. This marks an increase from previous rates, which are typically adjusted with a premium of $20 against international prices. Silver rates also saw a rise, increasing by Rs53 to Rs6,924 per tola.
The association attributed the hike in gold prices to the surge in the international market, where the price of 24-karat gold increased by $4 to $4,246 per ounce. This adjustment is reflected in the local market, with gold rates rising accordingly. The increase in silver prices also mirrors the trend seen in the global market.
