Gold prices steady in Baghdad and Erbil markets

Gold prices in Baghdad and Erbil have remained stable, according to a market survey conducted by Shafaq News. On Saturday, September 26, gold was selling at around 950,000 IQD per mithqal (five grams) in the capital's Al-Nahr Street markets.

The selling price for 21-carat gold from Gulf, Turkish, and European sources stood at 945,000 IQD, with a buying price of 941,000 IQD. Iraqi 21-carat gold was sold at 915,000 IQD, while its buying price hovered around 911,000 IQD.

In jewelry stores, the selling price per mithqal of 21-carat Gulf gold ranged between 945,000 and 955,000 IQD. Iraqi gold was sold for between 915,000 and 925,000 IQD.
