Gold Prices Steady Near One-Week High Amid Slight Fluctuations
Gold prices held steady near their one-week high on Monday in Singapore. The precious metal's spot price settled at $4,379.74 per ounce, showing little change from the previous day.
This development came after gold recorded its highest value last week on Friday. Despite the slight dip, US gold futures for December delivery still showed a 0.1 percent decline to $4,419.40.
Other precious metals also experienced fluctuations in their prices. Spot silver rose by 0.8 percent to $66.76 per ounce, while platinum and palladium climbed by 0.2 percent and 0.7 percent respectively.
