Gold Prices Tumble Amid Weak Spot Demand
Gold futures have slipped in value due to weaker spot demand. In India, gold prices dropped by Rs 2,045 to Rs 1,54,236 per 10 grams in futures trade on MCX Gold. The price decline is a result of decreased interest from buyers.
The October delivery contract for gold traded lower by 1.31% in 2,680 lots. This decline in precious metal prices mirrors the global trend, where gold futures have fallen by 0.51% to $4,432.51 per ounce in New York.
