Gold Prices Volatile Amid Expectations of Fed Rate Hike

Gold prices were volatile on September 25, experiencing a 0.49% increase in 24 hours to trade above $4,295 per ounce.

The US gold futures saw an even larger gain of 0.89%, reaching $4,336.30 per ounce by the end of the day.

In India, domestic spot gold gained Rs 1,377 to Rs 1,51,377 per 10 grams on MCX, while gold futures for October delivery surged 0.66% to Rs 1,51,710 per 10 grams.

According to Jateen Trivedi, VP Research Analyst at LKP Securities, 'Gold remained volatile this week,' with prices trading between Rs 1,50,000 and Rs 1,54,400.
