Gold Sees Gains Amid Weakening Dollar and Yields

Gold prices rose on Thursday as the US dollar and Treasury yields eased, a move that likely boosted investor appetite for the precious metal.

The spot price of gold climbed 0.5% to $4409.97 per ounce after hitting a near one-month low in the previous session.

US gold futures also rose 0.9% to $4455.30 per ounce, indicating growing demand for the asset.

In addition to gold, other precious metals also saw gains, with spot silver rising 0.6% to $65.74 per ounce and platinum climbing 0.6% to $1770.88 per ounce.
