Gold Soars on Fresh US-Iran Peace Hopes
The price of gold surged over 3% on Wednesday to reach its highest level in nearly six weeks, buoyed by renewed optimism over a potential peace deal between the US and Iran.
The fresh wave of optimism helped ease inflation concerns and reduced the value of the US dollar, pushing gold prices higher.
Gold's price rise was the strongest market reaction in more than one month, with the metal breaking above key resistance levels at $4203 and $4304, according to technical studies.
The Ichimoku cloud, a popular technical indicator, also showed significant bullish signals, further supporting the price increase.
