Goldcom Earnings Due as Analysts Eye Sustained Profitability
Goldcom Inc., a precious metals dealer, is set to report its fiscal fourth-quarter earnings on Wednesday. The company's performance will be closely watched as it aims to sustain profitability after a remarkable prior quarter driven by record gold prices and market turbulence.
The analysts expect Goldcom to earn 94 cents per share on revenue of $5.67 billion for the quarter ended June 30, marking year-over-year surges of 130% and 126%, respectively. However, these forecasts also represent a significant sequential decline from the prior quarter when Goldcom delivered $2.09 per share in earnings on $10.35 billion in revenue.
The company's stock has more than doubled over the past year, but remains below its recent peak of $66.70. Analysts are bullish, with all five covering the stock rating it a Strong Buy and a consensus price target of $65.80 implying 52% upside from current levels.
