Grain Market Finds Support, VIX Hits New High

The grain trade has found some support levels that appear to be holding up longer term. December corn is currently holding above the $5.15 level, and November soybeans are trading at or above $12.75. Similarly, December wheat in Chicago is holding above $7.18.

These prices suggest that the grain market has stabilized somewhat, but it's worth keeping an eye on other indices, such as the VIX, which measures fear and uncertainty on Wall Street. The VIX has reached its highest level since early August and is hovering near the 20-point area.
