On Tran Nhan Tong street in Hanoi, where many large gold trading stores are concentrated, buying and selling activities took place relatively stably on August 29. Despite a slight increase in customers at times, there was no long queue or gathering of people outside the shops. Inside, customers mainly came to buy plain round gold rings.

Certain individuals mentioned that they monitor gold prices regularly and wait for market adjustments to make their purchases, rather than buying based on crowd psychology. Mr. Bui Van Hoa, a resident of Hoan Kiem ward in Hanoi, stated: 'I have been following gold prices for the past few days, today I saw prices falling, so I took the opportunity to buy 5 taels of gold.'

The current gold price is listed at 145.7-148.7 million VND/tael (buying - selling), down 1 million VND/tael in both buying and selling directions compared to yesterday morning. World gold prices are around the threshold of $4,454.4 USD/ounce, down $127.6 USD.
