Heritage Petroleum Seeks Contractors for Oil Production Recovery Efforts
Heritage Petroleum, Trinidad and Tobago's national oil company and top crude producer, has issued a prequalification call for contractors and suppliers to provide services such as rigs, fluids and filtration, cementing, mud logging, and wellbore preparation. The upstream operator is accepting inquiries until August 7 and applications until September 7. Heritage will include qualified companies in its onshore and offshore drilling services procurement depositary.
The company's Energy Minister, Roodal Moonilal, has stated that Heritage 'is expected to make the largest contribution' to recover oil production. This comes as Moody's recently changed its outlook on Heritage from negative to stable due to the company's strong operating and financial profile. Fitch Ratings also has a stable outlook for the NOC.
