Hindustan Copper's Q1 results showed significant growth, but its stock fell despite this.

The PSU company saw a net profit of ₹353 crore, more than doubling from last year's figure of ₹134 crore. Revenue for the quarter reached ₹936.5 crore, an 81% increase from last year's ₹516.4 crore.

Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) also doubled to ₹507.5 crore, with a margin of 54%. Global copper prices have been rising, driven by tight supplies and easing concerns about interest rate hikes in the US.
