Houthi Attack Forces Saudi Aramco Shutdown in Jazan Oil Refinery

Saudi Aramco's Jazan oil refinery in Saudi Arabia was forced to shut down on July 27 following an attack by Yemen's Houthi militants.

The facility, which has a capacity of 400,000 barrels per day, suffered damage to its Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) complex and tank farm area.

Aramco is currently working to repair the damage and expects to complete the repairs by August 15. The refinery will then restart operations.
